Data Mapping
from €12,000
A map of what data exists, where it lives and how it moves. One definition per metric.
- Deliverable
- A source-of-truth blueprint: a data and process map showing what data exists, where it lives, when it moves and how it is retrieved, with one agreed definition per metric.
- For whom
- Teams where a dozen dashboards no longer agree, and nobody can say which number is the real one.
- Exit
- Built to Leave. You own the map, the definitions and the gap list; whatever gets built next runs on them.
Where it sits
The data foundation: where the numbers come from and whether they agree. MarTech Tool Stacking connects the tools that move them; Measurement Framework measures what marketing drove on top.
When: the dashboards stop agreeing with each other.
How it works
We shadow how data actually moves, trace every number back to its source, and agree one definition per metric with the people who own them. The output is the map, the definitions and a prioritised gap list, upstream of any build.
What it is
When the dashboards stop agreeing, the fix is not another dashboard, it is knowing how the data actually moves. Data Mapping is the diagnose-and-design work underneath a trustworthy operation: we map every number back to its source, trace how data flows through the business, what is produced where, when it moves and how it gets pulled, and define one source of truth per metric.
It is process mapping as much as data mapping, and it sits deliberately upstream. The connecting and automating happen afterwards, in MarTech Tool Stacking and Conversational Operations, on top of this blueprint.
What you get
- A data map. Every source, what it holds, who owns it, and which numbers depend on it.
- A process map. How data moves through the operation, step by step: what is produced where, when it flows, and how it is retrieved.
- A source-of-truth definition. One definition per metric, one authoritative source, agreed across the function, so the arguing stops.
- A prioritised gap list. Where the numbers currently break, double-count or disagree, ranked for the build.
- The blueprint the build runs on. The design MarTech Tool Stacking, Measurement Framework and Conversational Operations execute against.
How it ends
Built to Leave. You keep the map, the definitions and the prioritised gaps. Whether you build the connected layer with us next or hand it to your own team, everyone is finally working from the same picture of where the numbers come from.
Where this sits in the four phases.
Every service runs through the same method: shadow the live operation, design the architecture, operate with your team, then hand over.
Diagnose in your live operation. Decision logic, data flows, role boundaries. We watch how the work actually gets decided before we touch anything.
Channel logic, audience model, KPI framework, MarTech, workflow. The operating system on paper, agreed with your leadership before we build.
Operate with your team. Forecasting, media buying, automation. Enablement runs in parallel so ownership moves to your people while the system runs.
Attribution, incrementality, business impact. Then the handover cut: documentation, access, and usually the full-time leader we helped you hire.
