Embedded Operator

Fractional CMO

from €5,500 / month

Senior marketing ownership on a clock. Decisions carried, not recommended.

Deliverable
A marketing function that runs day to day, plus the operating system and, usually, the full-time leader to hand it to.
For whom
Founders and CEOs who need senior marketing ownership now, before a full-time CMO makes sense, or through the gap while they hire.
Exit
Built to Leave. A function that runs without us, and usually the full-time leader we helped you hire and onboard.

Where it sits

The senior seat in the marketing function, held from the inside. It carries the calls; the specialist services sit underneath it.

When: you need senior ownership before a full-time CMO makes sense.

How it works

Base plus impact. A base operational fee, set proportionally below a full-time hire, covers the seat. On top, clear agreed goals price the business impact, so base plus impact make the total. Minimum engagement three months.

What it is

A senior operator takes the CMO seat, part-time and with a defined end. We carry the marketing function from the inside, strategy, channel logic, the team, and the numbers a board actually asks about, rather than advising on it from the outside. The point is to build the function so it runs without us, and to hand it to whoever comes next.

What you get

  • Decision ownership. We hold the calls across the function, from positioning and channel mix to budget and hiring, instead of handing you a deck of options to weigh yourself.
  • An operating system on paper. Channel logic, audience model, KPI framework and cadence, written down so your next full-time hire steps into a system rather than a blank page.
  • Board-grade reporting. A reporting rhythm a CEO, CFO and board can read without a translator.
  • Team cadence and enablement. A weekly operating rhythm with your people, with enablement running alongside it so the capability stays after we go.

How it ends

Built to Leave. The deliverable is a marketing function that runs without us, and usually the full-time leader we helped you hire and onboard. That is what keeps most first senior marketing hires from failing: they inherit a system, not a vacuum.

Where this sits in the four phases.

Every service runs through the same method: shadow the live operation, design the architecture, operate with your team, then hand over.

Phase 0 This service
Shadowing Blueprint

Diagnose in your live operation. Decision logic, data flows, role boundaries. We watch how the work actually gets decided before we touch anything.

Phase 1 This service
Design Architecture

Channel logic, audience model, KPI framework, MarTech, workflow. The operating system on paper, agreed with your leadership before we build.

Phase 2 This service
Operate Running system

Operate with your team. Forecasting, media buying, automation. Enablement runs in parallel so ownership moves to your people while the system runs.

Phase 3
Control Handover

Attribution, incrementality, business impact. Then the handover cut: documentation, access, and usually the full-time leader we helped you hire.

No cart, no checkout. You tell us the situation, an operator reads it, and we come back with scope and price.

No pitch deck back. An operator reads this.
